What are pitch fibre drains and how do you repair them?

Pitch fibre drains (common in 1950s–1970s homes) can deform or collapse. We re-round and reline them using trenchless methods to restore flow without excavation.

Will your drainage repairs damage my property?

Our no-dig methods are designed to avoid major excavation. Most repairs are completed with little to no disturbance to your garden or driveway.

What is trenchless drainage technology?

Trenchless drain repair (no-dig) lets us fix or install pipes without large excavations. It’s faster, cleaner and minimises disruption to gardens, driveways and commercial sites.

Can you unblock all sizes of drains and pipes?

Yes. We work on all pipe diameters using high-pressure water jetting, root cutting and robotic cutting to clear stubborn blockages in domestic and commercial systems.

Do you install new drainage systems?

Yes. We install new drains and relays, soakaways and tanks. All work complies with current regulations and industry standards.

Do you offer a warranty on your drainage services?

Yes. All of our work comes with a 10-year workmanship warranty for peace of mind.

How long does a CIPP drain lining last?

Our Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) linings are designed to be a long-term solution, not a quick fix. When installed correctly, a CIPP lining has an expected lifespan of 50+ years, which is as long as — and often longer than — brand-new replacement pipes.

Do collapsed pitch fibre drains always need digging up?

Not at all. Many people are told that collapsed pitch fibre pipes must be excavated and replaced — but in 90% of cases this isn’t true.

Using specialist equipment, we can reform the pitch fibre pipe back to its original shape (a process known as re-rounding). Once the pipe is restored, we install a structural liner inside the drain, which keeps it strong, watertight, and protected for decades to come.

This trenchless “no-dig” method saves you from the cost, disruption, and mess of excavation, while still giving you a permanent repair backed by our 10-year workmanship warranty.

Do you offer emergency drainage services?

Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency drain unblocking and repairs across the South West. For urgent issues such as flooding, severe blockages or collapsed pipes, call us.

What is a CCTV drain survey and why would I need one?

A CCTV drain survey uses a camera to inspect your drains for blockages, cracks or structural defects. It’s ideal for recurring issues, pre-purchase checks and insurance reports. We provide HD footage and clear recommendations.

How do you repair tanks and soakaways?

We assess and repair soakaways and tanks with specialist trenchless techniques to restore capacity and performance with minimal disruption.

How can I get a quote?

Contact us by phone or email. We provide free, no-obligation quotes and can often estimate after an initial inspection or CCTV survey.

Are you qualified and insured to carry out drainage work?

Yes — we are fully accredited and hold all relevant industry qualifications and insurances to carry out drainage work safely and to the highest standards.

Our engineers are trained in trenchless technologies, confined space working, and CCTV drain surveying, and all work is fully insured for your peace of mind. This means you can trust us to complete every job safely, professionally, and in line with industry regulations.
